We heartily welcome you upon your arrival and transfer to your hotel by private car. Meet your guide/office representative for a trip briefing and necessary formalities. The city itself can be an overwhelming experience of sounds, sights and smells but it is worth taking the time to explore its narrow alleyways in a rickshaw, marvel at the medieval temples or stroll the backpacker district of Thamel.

After breakfast a 45-minute transfer by private car to Bhaktapur. Enjoy the Bhaktapur city tour through brick-paved narrow alleys connecting to open squares with a number of Hindu and Buddhist shrines. Be mesmerised by the ancient Newari history, architecture, culture and taste authentic Newari food. Then a short drive to your homestay host. Take a pleasant walk and sample the typical local food with the family in the evening.

After breakfast walk through a serene forest and across the hidden village of Katunje and Gundu. We will visit the Hindu Ananta Lingeshwar Mahadev temple and then uphill to Lakuri Bhanjyang with spectacular mountain views. Tonight stay at a Resort which offers ‘comfort beyond the clouds’ experience.

Wake up to a beautiful sunrise before breakfast. Then embarking on the hike to Panauti via the hill station Lakuri Bhanjyang and Kusa Devi villages. We rest at Panauti for lunch and take a local bus back to Bhaktapur.

Transfer to the international airport for your onward journey.
