The trek starts after driving 6 hours by jeep from Kathmandu to Dhundure via Dhading Beshi. After crossing the valley we come to Syabru beshi, another popular trekking point to Langtang region. From here, our second part of trekking to Gosaikunda begins and ends at Chisapani.
The Helambu Trek commences with an hour’s drive to Sundarijal from Kathmandu, followed by a short enticing walk to Chisopani on the same day. On the way, we can get a glimpse of the Shivapuri National Park. In the days ahead, we continue towards Kutumsang, Thadepati and Sermathang,
Tamang Heritage Trek starts from Gatlang and visits Chilime, Thuman, Timure and Briddim. The trail may end back at Syabrubesi or follow Langtang trek from Briddim village via Khamjim. One can visit a Tamang monastery and the beautiful Parvati Kunda (Kunda means a holy lake) at Gatlang.
